A year ago I got my wife her Birthday Cake from the bakery and it was so good I purchased another today! Still amazing. Love this place (Howell location) for a hassle and drama free grocery shopping experience. I decided to have them make my wife a birthday cake and was very pleased! She loves buttercream frosting (I'm not a huge fan) but the frosting on her cake is amazing! Nice and sweet without being overwhelming or cloying. Great service and decorations from the bakery department as well. And our cat recommends the rotisserie chicken 😹

The best grocery store in Howell. The staff is great and so helpful. They are the reason I always go back. The store has everything and you don't have to walk a 4 block radius. The absolute best.

Very clean very organized very friendly staff. I've been shopping here for 17 years. Some items are pricey but they carry their own brand of items which are more affordable and taste just as great as a name brand. They have a bakery where they make fresh bread. Bagels, donuts and cookies they also make and decorate cakes and cupcakes. They have a deli with fresh made pasta salads and dips and they take lg orders for get together or whatever you want. They have an amazing meat counter with fresh seafood and steaks as well as chicken and turkey burgers. Chicken and many others also have deli meats. They have a large wine and alcohol selection including beer and imported beer and liquor. They have a wide selection of food and cleaning products and they also have a pharmacy inside. I love this store. The only complaint I have is some of the pharmacy staff and the way they run the pharmacy. I have a chronic illness and multiple meds and had a few too many poor experiences with the pharmacy. Other than that great place to shop.

The store is always clean and well stocked. The produce is fresh and very good quality. I do the majority of my grocery shopping at VG's, and will continue to do so. They have wonderful sales associates that are friendly, polite, and helpful. David is my favorite VG's associate! He is the kindest, friendliest, and most pleasant person. It's always such a pleasure seeing him when I shop. Overall, the store gives us customers an excellent shopping experience, and it's greatly appreciated!

Vgs is always amazing! They're definitely a bit higher for prices but the store is always well stocked! They have amazing foods they make fresh daily here! Everything from sub sandwiches, to spinach dip. Dill dip! Tons of options! They have fresh made donuts, bagels. Breads, buns!! Soups! Salad bar! A phenomenal chicken Cesar's salad as well!! So many options!!! If you spend a certain amount of money you also get gas slips for certain amounts off per gallon! You can use multiple slips at a time too!!

VG's is a regular full service grocery store. You need to be enrolled in their YES card program to get the discounts.

VG's is still my almost daily go-to. Close to work. Easy parking. Store is clean and well stocked. In and out quickly. Like the fresh fruit, particularly grapes and watermelon. Good produce. Excellent beer, wine, and spirits selection. Also the sandwiches, on bread and croissants, except there's never enough egg salad.

I am leaving this review specifically for the employee, David. He is so sweet, always welcomes us, is eager to help, and always has a smile on his face. David is the sole reason we do our shopping at Vg's. We will be sad when he retires! Give that man a raise and recognize him for the star employee that he is. ⭐️ David, your kindness does not go unnoticed!
